In Pinoy comedy movies, the Police are always portrayed as bumbling, inept, stupid fools. Yesterday... while the world watched... real life imitated "art" as Manila's supposedly finest botched a hostage taking. There must be a rulebook for hostage taking somewhere but these guys managed to break every rule. It was so sad to see dead tourists.
Unlike the movies, real life is not funny.
