I think that Gloria's aide, fellow arrrenean Elena Bautista-Horn is taking drugs that are prescribed for her boss. IMHO, she has this drug-induced paranoia for even thinking of the "PUT THE LITTLE GIRL TO SLEEP" plot.
I think it's time to put their "avoid the law at all costs" drama to sleep.
