Giant upsets... Spain losing to the Swiss... Germany losing a game... France losing to Mexico and Bafana Bafana [eventually, getting booted out].... and the biggest one - upstart Slovakia blast the defending champions Italy in one hell of a match [I should have watched that game in bar instead of "resting" at home damn it!]
Dramatic games... Portugal nuking North Korea, 7-0... Donovan's last gasp goal that catapulted USA [whaaat, they have a football team? what next, cricket?] to the next round... an Argentine player's hat trick... etc...
BUT... the good always comes with the bad. Two words. REFEREES. VUVUZELA.
Yeah, nothing's perfect, right?!
