Born and raised in Cape Town, South Africa, Lesley-Ann Brandt is fast becoming one of the hottest South African exports via New Zealand. Lesley-Ann immigrated with her parents and younger brother to Auckland New Zealand in 1999. She started her career as a model and soon drew the attention of local casting directors who encouraged her to get into acting classes. In 2008 with a stream of local and international TV commercials on her resume and having taken the advice by working with various NZ and Australian acting coaches, Lesley-Ann landed her first lead role in the hit television series 'Diplomatic Immunity', starring opposite Craig Parker (of Spartacus, Lord of the Rings and Underworld: Rise of the Lycans), quickly moving her into the hearts of the nation.
