I was waiting for the day DOC MARTENS returned to the Philippines. And on Friday, December 9, it happened. Finally, they had an official shoe store at the Fort. No more lusting after Doc Marts shoes in blogs or at the Ronac Art Center.
On Sunday, I was finally able to drop by. So what did I see? No more boots. It was wiped out Friday and Saturday. There were brogues, wingtips, saddle shoes, tassled shoes and halfboots but they cost around 7k.
7k? And you're not in a mall but in a container van in the middle of gimik country. The rent must be lower than usual? Maybe. Nice shoes but expensive.
I ended up later in the day with an Adidas instead.
