My favorite Pinoy female fronted band is DRIP. So just last night I posted a compliment on their Facebook page...Me: "kahit ganito ang pangalan ko at kahit di ko pa kayo napapanood ng live, meron akong dalawang cd ninyo, at kayo pa rin ang paborito kong female vocalist led band sa 'Pinas"
Then a few hours later, their vocalist, Beng answers back...
Drip/Beng: "haha salamat naman. at gusto ko ang pangalan mo. astig kaya- beng"
IT'S GREAT THAT THEY ANSWER BACK, RIGHT? MAKES ME FEEL SUBCULTURED.
So I got carried away and wrote on the wall of the TAKEN BY CARS page...
Me: "Galing ng second album ninyo, specially, the second half of the cd!"
They answer back too...
TBC: "Thank you so much!!! We're glad you enjoyed the album!"MADE MY NIGHT. MABABAW LANG NAMAN KALIGAYAHAN KO EH.
- i like the first album of TAKEN BY CARS better than the second one... but the second one is good to. I love the second haf of the album starting with the song "Considerate"
- despite all the hoopla, i still don't motherfucking care about the royal wedding
- can't wait to go to bohol this july
- yesterday was the hottest day of the year so far. aah, the perks of working in an airconditioned office during summer
- i now live alone [my brotha works in some farm] and i'm loving it
- lost in an egg-eating contest in an office get-together yesterday... that's because they gave me red eggs which are saltier than the fucking dead sea
