Since I bought an Ipad, I found out I didn't need the newspaper anymore. So I told the neighborhood news delivery person that he should stop sending me The Inquirer everyday. That was weeks ago.
Fast forward to today. I get a free newspaper + the newspaper guy's phone number with a note saying that if I ever wanted to subscribe again, to just text him. Hmmm... first thought that comes to my mind... THAT IS MARKETING!
MY POINT IS you don't have to be a highly paid brand manager who believes he or she is the savior of the brand because... ANYONE CAN DO MARKETING.
