folding bike sub cult
The Brompton is the "holy grail" of folding bikes. It's expensive, and it's not available in this country. Check this...

The Unsubcultured folding bike tour of Makati
Parked my car at my friend's building then biked around the business district. It's safe to bike around these parts on Sundays because there are no YUPPIES.

Just me, my bike and Ayala Avenue

Ominous start to the "festivities."

Are you going to rain on my bike parade?

Reposo or Nicanor Garcia street art.

All walls should be like this... I think

JRA... this is where I used to work before.

This is where I used to eat after drinking before

The world famous Burgos Street...

the street where foreigners get laid for a price...

and fall in love, perhaps [to a "subservient" asian woman]

The pleasure palace

Ok back to the shitty business district [I kind of like the red light district better]

If you're rich and pretentious, you eat here

And if you're a social climber, you get married here

Mckinley road... my favorite street in Makati

Got to the fort and went back to Makati to end my ride in my friend's crib getting tipsy on rum and sprite.

yoyo + folding bike sub cult
I really don't know why or how it came to be but in Pinoy slang, a watch is called a yoyo.
Anyway, here's my new yoyo. I never used to wear watches before but I was thinking I needed one when I'm biking. So there, another purchase related to my folding bike quasi-addiction.
folding bike sub cult + toy camera photography sub cult
There was a storm last weekend. But that didn't stop me from riding my bike. Took advantage of the "window" in between rainstorms to ride around UP [again]. Am I hopelessly addicted to riding? I don't know...

folding bike + digital harinezumi + pinoy lokal tourism sub cult
Went on a Labor Day ride by myself. Started at CCP, then went to Quiapo, Chinatown & Intramuros. Highlights of the trip: cool photos, more shit you don't see in malls, plus my first bike fall [I tried to jump a curb thinking my folding bike had mountain bike capabilities. A homeless man watched me with nary a reaction. Didn't even laugh at me].
Trying to cross Roxas boulevard
Looks like a painting, huh
Random bike parked
Noice!!!
