the "other side" of the elyu sub cult

My friends and I have been going to the Urbiztondo, San Juan, La Union beach for as long as I can remember. 

Last weekend, we did something different. We were invited by Tita Marie, aka Lola Nanny, aka Luke Landrigan's mom to stay at her soon to be opened place at another beach further down the road from the popular surf area. Her place was in the Montemar area where the German Sunset Beach and Final Option resorts where. 

Anyway, it was her "resort blessing" party and she invited people she liked to come over. Yes, we stayed for free, ate for free and got drunk for free. At the same time we were able to entertain Tita Marie and her partner John. 

Sunday, we went to the surfing main beach to waveride, eat and drink a little. Then as usual, we went home to Manila after the sun had set. Here are some pics from the weekend.

 

 

Oh yeah. I missed the 4th Annual Blue Eagle Bonfire. But it's ok. We lit up a few things in LU too.
