Walked around my favorite surfspot, Sabang Beach, Baler, Aurora. Said hi to old friends... checked out kung may okay na chicks sa ibang resort... etc.
I haven't been in here in two years and so much has changed. You fix the roads to Baler, you get more tourists. And suddenly, the economy booms.
I've noticed a lot of new resorts. Big ones too. Plus they are constructing more. Plus the old resorts have gone on with the obligatory facelift.
I've never seen soooo many people on the beach too.
Has Baler lost its otherworldy charm?
Naaah. It's still beautiful [so far]. I just hope it doesn't go the way of that island in Malay, Aklan.
